1. Information We Collect

JKExamGrid is designed to offer high-fidelity practice exams. To provide this service, we collect:

• Account Credentials: If you sign up, we store your email address and display name securely using Firebase Authentication.
• Practice Progress: Your scorecards, test attempt history, and accuracy rates are stored to show your progression analytics.
• Local Storage Cache: To allow zero-signup practice attempts, we store mock test history directly on your device using your browser's local storage.

2. How Data is Synchronized

By default, guest test records remain cached in your local browser. If you opt to create an account, these local records are synchronized to our secure cloud database hosted on Google Firebase, allowing you to access your progress across multiple devices. You can clear your local cache at any time through your browser settings.

3. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security protocols to protect your accounts and databases. All transmissions between your browser and our Firebase database are encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocols. We never sell, lease, or distribute your account email addresses to third parties.

4. Third-Party Integrations

We may utilize analytics services (such as Google Analytics) to study platform traffic patterns and improve our question formatting. These services collect anonymous platform usage statistics and do not collect personally identifiable student details.

5. Payment Data & Razorpay

All payment transactions on JKExamGrid are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway. JKExamGrid does not collect, store, or have access to your payment card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs, or bank account credentials at any point.

When you make a payment, Razorpay processes your financial data under their own privacy and security policies. We encourage you to review Razorpay's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle payment data.

What we do store: Upon successful payment, we record your Razorpay Payment ID, the plan purchased, and the amount paid in our Firestore database for the purpose of activating and managing your subscription. This data is retained for a minimum of 3 years to comply with financial record-keeping requirements under Indian law.

6. Data Retention

• Account data (name, email, progress) is retained as long as your account is active.
• Payment records (Payment ID, plan, amount) are retained for a minimum of 3 years.
• Local storage data is retained only on your device and can be cleared at any time via your browser.

To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at jkexamgrid@gmail.com. Payment records required for legal compliance cannot be deleted before the retention period expires.
